June 11, 2014  Santa Caterina

Bed and Breakfast places are the way to go!  Every morning, the lady comes in and makes my coffee and sets out my breakfast so when I get up all I have to do is eat.  Well, I actually have to turn on the fire to start the coffee, but it doesn't take very long from that point.  Then they clean my place and make my bed and bring me cakes.  However, time to make a change, just not sure what that is as of today, hopefully will know more tomorrow.  This is looking more and more like the place I will be staying... and that's fine by me, I really like it here.

Today, Giulia had to work until noon, then came and picked me up and took me to Santa Caterina for lunch, about 20 minute drive.  We had Sea Urchin... my first!  Also shrimp and Calamari.  The freshest I've ever had.  It was so good.

We spent the afternoon sight seeing... she keeps saying she wants me to live here and she and her flatmate offered to have me stay with them for another week, just to keep me here longer.  They are such wonderful young ladies.  They both speak English, so communicating is great!

Now, I'm doing my blogging at the restaurant where Mirabella works and that means having a Gelato, of course!  Sitting enjoying the open air, right on the sea shore, wonderful breeze after such a hot day here today.

Anyway, all for tonight, time to walk back to the apartment and make some Bruschetta and Mozzarella Balls... yum!

Oh I also purchased a train ticket to go to Bari and meet Anna Marie on Friday.  Looking forward to that!
